Pot de Vin now available!

Pot de Vin is a trick taking game in which the goal is to collect sets of different guild symbols by winning rounds and claiming the cards of your opponents. Gather the right amount of symbols to gain the most points. Jokers can be added to a guild of your choice, but watch out for the Pot de Vin (card 13); if you don’t collect them all, then they will hurt you in the end!

Everyone from the highest aristocrat to the lowliest gang boss strives to gain the support of the guilds — but to get this means bribery, skulduggery, and knowledge of the four most powerful and influential figures in the city. Knowing when to strike requires cunning and prudence. News travels fast, and no guild wants to become infamous…unless of course they can profit from it!

Passport Game Studios Partners with Barnes & Noble for In-Store Game Night

Passport Game Studios Featured AT Barnes & Noble’s Second In-Store Tabletop Game Night Event

October 11th, 2016 – Passport Game Studios, premiere publisher of dozens of the best games in the tabletop game industry, is excited to announce that we are partnering with Barnes & Noble to feature our hit auction game Warehouse 51 during in-store Tabletop Gaming Meetup events on Saturday, October 15th, in Barnes & Noble stores nationwide. In April of 2016 Barnes & Noble hosted their first gaming meet up and proved it to be a massive hit, and we’re proud to have been selected for their second national event.

In Warehouse 51, you are a multimillionaire who is eager to show the world just how exorbitant you can be. But you aren’t the only one eyeing the prized collection of the US Government; moguls from all corners of the globe seek to add these rare and valuable artifacts to their collections. But things aren’t as they seem, and those wishing to own these ultra-rare items may not know what they’re getting themselves into. After all, there’s a reason why the government kept these items locked away in a nondescript warehouse for so long. Warehouse 51 pits players against each other in a fast game of bidding, hidden information, and bluffing. The millionaire who can make out with the most valuable items, while also avoiding the perils that accompany these mythical items, will come out ahead in life.

Participants in the event are encouraged to take & post photographs of them enjoying their games on social media using the hashtags #BNGameNight and #Warehouse51.

For more information on the event, customers can visit the Barnes & Noble Blog, or can contact Passport Game Studios at for any inquiries about the event.

Passport Game Studios is Excited to Announce the Official Release of 3 WISHES

New 3-5 player microgame from publishing partnership with Strawberry Studio and game designer Chris Castagnetto.

3 Wishes is a party/family microgame for 3-5 players that plays in 3-5 minutes. With its simple rules, this memory, intuition and bluffing game is as much about playing the game as it is about playing the other players. A poker face will go a long way – well, not too long, since the game may last only three minutes – and it will also serve you well as a fast and fun memory training.

The story: A not-so-nice-but-not-too-evil genie appears as if from nowhere (someone, somewhere probably did rub a lamp) and pitches the crowd against one another, granting the most astute player no fewer than three wishes — but not all wishes come true, and only the player with the right balance between super powers, benefits for the world, and selfish gifts will be enter the good graces of the genie.

3 Wishes was pre-released at Gen Con in Indianapolis in August of this year to wide critical acclaim. Take a look at what some prominent reviewers have already had to say about the game!

Hello fellow travelers! Ryan with Passport here, and today I wanted to recap the amazing time we had attending Gen Con 2016 this month. You’ll get a little look behind the scenes, and an overview of all the fun things we got up to in our booth. So pack your bags… Adventure Awaits!

For Passport and most exhibitors, Gen Con starts a few days before the masses. Setup for the show actually consisted of a couple days this year. The team all arrived Monday afternoon, and that evening would be the last chance any of us had to relax for the next 7 days! Tuesday and Wednesday were heavily committed to the setup of our booth in the exhibit hall. A lot of work goes into making the booths at a show like Gen Con a reality. Here’s a look at things as they were being finalized. Lots of debate over how best to stack all our hot new games!

Wednesday also gave us a chance to attend Trade Day, in which we met with and demoed new games to retailers, librarians, and educators who attended looking to learn more about how they could bring Passport games to their clientele. This was a great first look at how our new releases would be received at the show, as our demos for 3 Wishes, Mythe, and Quartz were all met with a huge amount of positivity from the Trade Day attendees!

Come Thursday, we were ready for the main event. Everything was setup, including a wonderful demo table donated by our friends at which spent the week showcasing the Funforge hit Tokaido. Here’s the Passport booth shortly before the doors opened at 9am that morning.

And here it is shortly after! Quite a full house with fans shopping all our games.full_booth full_2

In addition to our catalog of many, many great games, we had three all-new titles which debuted at Gen Con. 3 Wishes, our new micro game from designer Chris Castagnetto, was a staple in the booth all week, and we rarely had someone stopping through our booth without picking up a copy. In addition to the great response we had, Chris himself stopped by on several occasions to sign copies of the games for attendees. Just look at how excited these fans were!3_wishes_signing

Mythe, our latest offering partnered with LudiCreations, was also a huge hit at the show. Fans couldn’t get over how great the folding pop-up game board is and how beautiful the art is! The demo tables for this game were filled non-stop, and we had the pleasure of selling out of the game by Sunday.alvin_mythe

Our last new release for the show was Quartz, a wonderfully fun new game from the designers of Warehouse 51 and Sheriff of Nottingham, Sérgio Halaban and André Zatz. Like Chris with 3 Wishes, Sérgio also stopped into the booth to sign copies of his game for fans, and was busy with his pen constantly!sergio

Last but certainly not least, we had the pleasure of hosting award winning game designer Bruno Cathala throughout the week to demo his upcoming game Pocket Madness, coming soon from Passport and Funforge. Fans loved it, and were so disappointed when they couldn’t buy it yet! Don’t worry; Pocket Madness will be coming very soon to a FLGS near you!bruno

Gen Con is always a whirlwind. Every year we exhibitors are exhausted by the end and are increasingly ready to be off our feet as the week goes on, and yet come Monday morning all we can say is, “Sure can’t wait until next year!” Thanks to all our fans who came out and supported us, and to all our volunteers, without who the entire show would simply not be possible for us! Can’t wait to see everyone next year for Gen Con 50!thumbs_up

Did you miss us at Gen Con? Our next public appearance will be BoardgameGeek.Con in November. We’ll have more exciting new things to show everyone there so if you’re going, don’t forgot to stop by: your next adventure awaits!
